Natalie Steinel, BS
UPenn Immunology Graduate Student
B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology & B.A. in French from University of Texas at Austin. Natalie’s thesis project involves elucidating the precise molecular mechanisms by which the Ataxia Telangiectasia Mutated tumor suppressor protein coordinates gene rearrangement events among alleles to promote efficient lymphocyte development, enforce antigen receptor allelic exclusion, and prevent formation of oncogenic antigen receptor locus translocations.
