Clinical Research Assistant
Tahirah Austin graduated from Neumann University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Science and was a past patient at CHOP’s Sickle Cell Center. Ms. Austin currently serves as the Project Navigator on the Families Taking Control study and a research assistant on the Clinical Trials Engagement Study. She is also involved with many advocacy organizations representing sickle cell awareness and community outreach to young adults living with sickle cell disease. Her career interest is in public health and disease prevention research and she plans to attend graduate school in the near future.
